Regarding the 2nd Regular Concert of Russian Music

On April,17, the 2^nd annual concert of Russian Music was held at Incheon Culture and Arts Center. The Concert was organized by the Honorary Consul of the Russian Federation in Incheon prof. Jung Heon with the support of the Embassy of Russia in the Republic of Korea and City Hall of Incheon.

The Ambassador of Russia to the Republic of Korea Konstantiv Vnukov made a special mention that such concerts had already become a good tradition and that they reflect the friendly ties between our countries which had existed since the 19^th century.

The concert was opened with the performance of «Moscovia» ensemble of the Russian Embassy School. The programm also included Russian love songs and arias from classic Russian operas by T.Korovina (soprano) and Lee Yeon-song (bass), scenes from the «Swan Lake» ballet by the ballet dancers of the «Universal Ballet» group and the performance of the «Chaikovsky Festival Orchestra» led by conductor Park Tae Young. The audience warmly greeted all the performers.
