The following categories of persons ARE WELCOMED in the Consular Section of the Russian Embassy for applying DIRECTLY for Russian visa

• Holders of foreign diplomatic and service passports;
• The members of official delegations who, following an official invitation to the Republic of Korea, participate in meetings, consultations, negotiations or exchange programs or in the events held in the territory of the Russian Federation by intergovernmental organizations;
• The participants in official exchange programs organized by sister cities or regions (for citizens of the Republic of Korea);
• The participants in scientific, cultural or artistic activities including those of universities and other exchange programs (for citizens of the Republic of Korea);
• The persons who have presented documents proving the necessity of their travel on humanitarian grounds, including to receive urgent medical treatment, and the person(s) accompanying such person(s), or to attend a funeral of a close relative, or to visit a seriously ill close relative;
• The pupils, students, post-graduate students and accompanying teachers who undertake trips for the purpose of study or educational training (for citizens of the Republic of Korea);
• The disabled persons and the person(s) accompanying them, if necessary;
• The close relatives - spouses, children (including adopted), parents (including custodians or trustees), brothers and sisters, grandparents and grandchildren of the nationals of the Republic of Korea legally residing in the territory of the Russian Federation
• Foreign citizens-members of the Russian citizen family (husband, wife, minor child), intending to travel to Russia together (Russian citizen - applicant must submit application in person only)
