School at the Russian Federation Embassy in the Republic of Korea, which started its work on September 1, 2002, provides elementary, middle and high school basic education along with profound study of English language.

The activities of the School are carried out in conformity with the Russian Federation Law on Education, Standard Regulations for Basic Education Institutions of the Russian Federation, and Russian Foreign Ministry (MOFA) Regulations for Overseas Schools.
Free education in the school is provided for children accompanying their parents who came to the ROK to work for Russian state organizations.
In case of vacant positions children of other Russian citizens and foreigners could also study in the School. Their education is implemented on the basis of the contracts signed between the School and the parents. Family and financial situation and other circumstances of the parents are considered when signing a contract.
The educational process in the School is organized according to Study Plan for Schools with Profound Study of English Language at Foreign Representations of Russian MOFA. The School includes all three steps of education (elementary school from the 1st till the 4th grade). Educational program includes all core disciplines starting with the 1st till the 11th grade.
The special emphasis is put on the profound study of English language: elementary school - 3 hours a week, middle and high school - 5 hours.

In March 2005 the School successfully passed the attestation of the Ministry of Education of Russia.

As of October 2009 not only children of Russian public officials and citizens, but also children from other countries, such as Belarus, Kazakhstan, Ukraine, Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan, Mongolia, ROK are studying in the School. School is well technically equipped and has modern computer class, which allows maintaining efficient study process.

School’s extra-curricular program includes discipline’s weeks, sport competitions, brain-rings, school parties and other events. Sightseeing tours and museum excursions are organized for the students.

School faculty is represented by experienced teachers (mainly with the highest qualification category) sent from Russia. School Council was created for equal participation of teachers, students and their parents in the educational process.

School is well technically equipped and has modern computer class, which allows maintaining efficient study process.
