In 2015 we celebrated the 25th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the Russian Federation and the Republic of Korea. For these years Korea has become one of the priority partners for our country in the Asia-Pacific Region. For historically short period of time by our mutual efforts we have managed to lay solid foundation for cooperation in politic, trade and economy, culture-humanitarian sphere and science. A number of ambitious joint projects have been accomplished as well.

The Russian Federation and the Republic of Korea possess everything necessary to continue developing truly good neighbor relations and mutually beneficial cooperation. The presidents of our countries have discussed the prospects of bilateral relations on repeated occasions. I’m convinced that the realization of the agreements reached by our states leaders will definitely open new vista for the bilateral cooperation.
