About the participation of the Ambassador of the Russian Federation to the Republic of Korea Dr. Konstantin Vnukov in the joint session of St.Petersburg International Economic Forum and the Federation of Korean Industries.

On April, 3, at Seoul Lotte Hotel the joint session of St.Petersburg International Economic Forum and the Federation of Korean Industries was held.

The Korean delegation at the session was led by Deputy Minister of Trade, Industry and Energy of the Republic of Korea Mr. Сhoi Kyung-lim, the Russian delegation - by the Deputy Minister of Economic Development and Trade of the Russian Federation Mr.Sergey V.Belyakov. The participants of the event were governmental, civil and commercial organizations of the Republic of Korea, representatives of the Embassy, the Trade Representation of the Russian Federation and of some Russian companies, which had branch offices in the Republic of Korea. In the course of the session a number of issues was discussed, thus including cooperation in all spheres, especially in the areas of high-techilogy– space projects, biotechnologies and IT, nuclear energy.

The Ambassador of the Russian Federation to the Republic of Korea Dr.Konstantin V.Vnukov in his conluding remarks stressed the openness of the participants to constructive dialogue and deep interest in the topics duscussed thanked them for factful presentations, and aknowledged his graditude to the organizers for the great preparatory work.
