Dear KDI School Dean Mr. Nam Sang-Woo,
Dear students,
It’s my great pleasure to attend this morning the 2011 Commencement Ceremony of KDI School of Public Policy and Management.
During 13 years since the establishment the School provided an excellent education to the students from over 90 different countries, including 14 young people from Russia. I am very happy to see here 5 Russian students celebrating their achievements.
Within a very short period of time (we established our diplomatic relations only 21 years ago) our two countries developed bilateral relations covering now practically all spheres. Due to the joint efforts of two sides the Russian Federation and the Republic of Korea became strategic partners.
While congratulating you all on this occasion, I am confident that in the nearest future you can use accumulated knowledge in order to achieve further political and economical growth of your countries, obtain sustainable development, promote world peace and security. Future belongs to Youth, so you should become real policymakers in politics, economy, diplomacy, management, science and technology.
Many thanks to the professors and teachers of KDISchool, best wishes to all of you.
