The tasks of the Trade Representation

Realization of the foreign economy policy of the Russian Federation in the Republic of Korea, creation of the most favorable conditions for the above mentioned in accordance with the state interests of Russia in the field of foreign economic activity;

Monitoring of the general economic conditions, plans and programs of the economic development, financial and currency situation of the Republic of Korea, development of its foreign economy ties and legislation in the field of the foreign economic activity, market opportunities for various goods and services;

Providing information to the institutions and organizations of the Republic of Korea on the economic situation in Russia and on the Russian legislation in the field of foreign economic activity;

Providing necessary assistance to the Russian participants of the foreign economic activity in the establishment and development of the new forms of the external economic cooperation;

Participation in the work of the Intergovernmental Commission on the Economic, Scientific and Technical Cooperation, its Committees, international economic organizations and their working groups in regard with the external economic cooperation;

Providing assistance to the participants of the foreign economic activity in attraction of the Korean investments into the Russian economy and the Russian investments into the Korean Economy for realization of the projects and programs of high importance for both countries and in search for potential Korean and Russian partners for implementation of specific projects in accordance with their needs;

Assistance to the promotion of the Russian goods into Korean market using capabilities of Korean organizations in charge of promotion of the foreign trade of the Republic of Korea (KOTRA, FKI, KITA, KOIMA etc.);

Assistance to organization of the Russian national trade and industrial exhibitions and to participation of the Russian interested organizations in the international exhibitions and fairs to be held in the Republic of Korea;

Attraction to the participation in the exhibitions in the territory of Russia of the companies and the organizations for the demonstration of the modern machines, facilities and technologies.
