Accreditation
Media members wishing
to take part in coverage of the program of
events, with heads of foreign states and
official delegations in attendance, as part
of the celebration of the 60th anniversary
of the Victory in the Great Patriotic War in
May 2005, as well as to enjoy the services
provided by the Press Center, including
participation in journalistic pools, have to
receive accreditation.
Accreditation of
Official Pools
Journalists wishing
to accredit themselves as part of an
official pool should complete the
accreditation form posted in the appropriate
section of the commemorations website at the
Internet address
www.may9.ru,
which is scheduled to be launched from
February 15, 2005. The completed
accreditation forms are to be submitted to
the organizing committee in a centralized
manner through the diplomatic representation
of the country in question in Moscow,
accompanied by a note requesting
accreditation for the media members. The
deadline for submission of completed
accreditation forms for members of an
official pool is
April 1, 2005.
The accreditation badge will be given on the
day of arrival at the International
Commemorations Press Center.
Because the
accommodation facilities for guests in
Moscow during the period of festive
commemorations are restricted, the Rossia
Hotel will presumably be allocated for
settling all the media members who are part
of an official pool. Based on this, the
quota for each of the countries is 25 rooms.
More detailed
information on the terms and conditions of
hotel accommodation as well as on room
bookings for official pool members will be
available on the commemorations website.
Accreditation of
International Media
Journalists members
of international media wishing to accredit
themselves for coverage of the specified
events should complete the accreditation
form posted in the appropriate section of
the commemorations website at the address
www.may9.ru.
Questionnaires not accompanied by an
official request from the editorial board
will not be considered. The completed
accreditation forms with photographs are to
be submitted to the organizing committee by
e-mail (the address to be announced
additionally). The deadline for submission
of completed accreditation forms for members
of international media is
April 1, 2005.
The accreditation badge will be given on the
day of arrival at the International
Commemorations Press Center.
The Press Center
The International
Commemorations Press Center will begin its
work on May 7, 2005. It will conduct a
direct broadcast of the international
commemorations of the 60th anniversary of
the Victory in the Great Patriotic War. More
detailed information on the work of the
Press Center will be provided on the
commemorations website
www.may9.ru.
Supply of
Transport
The media members
arriving in Moscow by commercial flights
will be delivered free of charge from the
Vnukovo, Sheremetyevo and Domodedovo
airports to the Rossia Hotel by shuttle
buses.
During the festive
commemorations, members of the media will be
delivered to sites of the program in an
organized way from the Press Center in
accordance with the pools.
Organization of
the Work of Television and Radio Companies
The All-Russia State
Television and Radio Company (VGTRK), which
is the host broadcaster, will provide media
members with complete video and audio
materials on key events to be held as part
of the celebration of the Victory in the
Great Patriotic War free of charge. VGTRK
can also ensure the provision of additional
services and equipment on a paid basis.
